Beauty and the Beast Stories (German subtitles + translation)

This is the song "Stories" from "Beauty and the Beast - Enchanted Christmas" / "Weihnachtszauber" in the german version: "Geschichten" sung by Jana Werner.I added the german lyrics and an english translation beause I like the german version very much and I personally think the german lyrics are better than the english one. Thanks, YamiNoa, for the video. :)The song can be now downloaded here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/... down and you will find the download link. Hope you enjoy it!

if I am allowed to give some critic. I think your translation is too literal. You put the words in the exact same position as they are in german. Of course it helps to understand the flow of words in the original (german) language to foreigners. The english subs alone somehow seem a little strange in the word order.

@iHiHiu seems to be the same, u could translate "naja" to "well" :)

iHiHiu (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Weird.. When she says "Naja" in the beginning it sounds a lot like Finnish "No jaa" which is also one way to say "Well.." O.o

@musicrulesmylife123 No, they are not. The english subtitles at the bottom of the screen are the translation of the german lyrics (which are sung in this video and which are shown on top of the screen). Therefore, they are not coincidental with the original english lyrics. If you would have read the video description you would have known that. And it there are any grammar faults - I'm sorry but I'm not a native speaker.
