My dog does this every Christmas, he lays by the tree and waits for us to give him permission, heaven forbid if we tease him with one, or just touch it when he's watching. Then he becomes obsessed and we have to put it away. We LOVE this tradition.

Geat job! Theres a lot of dogs that can open presents. A lot goes with breed type, my Cairn x has no problem, Iv had a gsd x collie, and a lab that could but the Lurcher and another terrier x coudlnt. Happy Christmas.
