I'm sure this cake is fabulous, but not calling it a "traditional" fruit cake would help people like me searching for the traditional brown cake.

@Sch1n89 Butter, sugar and fat...now THAT'S one awesome recipe! ;) I think I'll go mix some of that up right now and toss it in the microwave. :D

We have found using the Banana Seal is a great way to keep all of our ingredients soft and fresh for months! Even brown sugar stays fresh for months!. Here's the website: SaveTheBananaSeal

americans could eat only butter sugar and animal fat. they would survive. i was 4 yrs in america,in all directions, utah where my aunt lives (yeo shes mormon lol) new york, florida miami las vegas pretty much everywhere. But,the Foods is everywhere thesame. Im german i now fatty food, but ur food is just always enuff fat,or much sugar. its like u hate original flavours or aromas, everything has to be super tasty, fatty sugarlike.

I love cooking in & on a gas stove. I much prefer gas over electric any day. It cooks so much better. I wish I had gas but I have electric unfortunately.
